ART GROUPS

The Canberra Art Workshop’s core activity is its program of 12 untutored Art Groups, which operate throughout the week – for financial members only. Art Groups provide opportunities for a wide range of visual artistic expression and a stimulating setting for exchange of creative ideas and discussion.

Media focused groups include Printmaking (Monday AM) and Pastels (Wednesday AM). Experimental Painting (Thursday AM and PM) and ExplorARTive (Tuesday PM) allow freedom of expression in a variety of media. There are also several life and portrait drawing | painting groups to choose from (Monday PM, Tuesday AM, Wednesday Evening, Thursday Evening, Friday AM, Friday Evening and Sunday PM).

Art Groups are managed by volunteer convenors. You will find their contact details on the relevant art group page. Please contact them if you have any questions about how the group operates. You will need to take your own art materials and refreshments.

All bookings are online and non-refundable. Due to the studio space limitations, only 14 people can attend each group (including a model if relevant).
