This fun and messy full day course we explore different possibilities offered when using acrylic, binder medium, collaged paper tape and water washes.

Create dynamic abstracted figurative paintings by progressively applying washes to removed areas of layered collage.

About the tutor

As a practicing artist Rick is passionate about teaching others the skill sets required to empower creativity.

He has been part of the Canberra Art Workshop management team since 2006 where he has also convened a life drawing group every Wednesday night. Primarily an oil painter, he is also a skilled printmaker.

Now cutting back on full time work, Rick will concentrate more on teaching and exhibiting in 2021.

If you find you are no longer able to attend:

Please advise eventscaw@gmail.com ASAP so we can notify the next in line.

Please include your name and the name of the workshop/event.

Refunds will be given at CAW’s discretion, if:

The participant withdraws from the event or workshop at least 14 days prior to commencement.

The place can be filled by someone on the waiting list.

The workshop is cancelled by CAW.
