Erin Stonestreet is a contemporary realist artist living and working in the Canberra region. She specializes in portraits and figurative work.
Erin has studied widely in Australia, the United States and Europe, and has participated in group shows in both the United States and Australia. Her work is held in private collections in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Introduction to Portrait Painting

Explore an exciting array of acrylic painting techniques which focus on building layers of paint to create rich surfaces and sumptuous artworks. We will be exploring bird painting in this course and will be looking at creating feathers, beaks, eyes and much, much more. Acrylic techniques used will involve layering, working with opaque paint, glazing and scumbling.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience, including absolute beginners.
