Learn how to use simple mark-making, drawing, writing, and collage techniques to create a personal visual diary that captures your everyday life and experiences.
This course encourages mindfulness and self-expression, helping participants embrace their unique creative voice. No prior artistic experience is required—just a willingness to experiment and have fun!
About the tutor
Bobby Graham is an award-winning digital and mixed-media artist with a passion for mindful, creative expression. Bobby specializes in combining traditional and digital techniques to create rich, personal works and loves inspiring others to explore their creativity through journaling.

Mixed media (drawing, writing, collage, and optional digital components)
Materials list
• Sketchbook or journal with heavyweight pages (A4 or A5, suitable for mixed media)
• Black ink pens (e.g., Uni-ball or fountain pens)
• Coloured inks (optional) or markers
• Collage materials (magazines, scraps, or personal photos)
• Glue stick or double-sided tape
• Scissors or craft knife
• Watercolors or acrylic paints (optional)
• Brushes, erasers, and other basic tools
• Any personal materials you’d like to include in your journal
