Have you ever wondered how professional artists build their own canvases and frame them?  Wonder no longer!
In this two-day workshop, artist Leigh D Walker will take you, step by-step, through the process of building stretchers, stretching canvas and preparing canvas for oil and acrylic paint. You will also be instructed on how to create a floating frame.
This is a practical workshop where you will build your own canvas and frame it, learning skills and a little bit of art history along the way.
You will go home Sunday with a high quality, stretched linen canvas, snuggly fitting a sturdy frame (those suckers a expensive to buy!)
The skills you learn can be used time and time again – say goodbye to buying expensive pre-made canvases!
