In this fun and messy workshop participants will explore different possibilities offered when using acrylic, binder medium, collaged paper, tape and water washes. You will create dynamic abstract and figurative paintings by progressively applying washes to removed areas of layered collage.

Materials provided. Cost included in the workshop fee. Participants may wish to bring their own images as source material

About the tutor

As a practising artist Rick is passionate about teaching others the skill sets required to empower creativity. He was part of the Canberra Art Workshop management team from 2006-2021 and has also run a life drawing art group every Wednesday evening. Primarily an oil painter, he is also a skilled printmaker.
