This course will lead you through the mechanics of drawing the features of the face, with regular demonstrations and discussions. Topics covered include the structure of the head, and the structure of each individual feature. A focus on understanding the physical structure of the head and the features will allow you to learn to draw realistic and 3-dimensional facial features with confidence, whether sketching from life or painting a portrait.
Erin Stonestreet is a contemporary realist artist living and working in the Canberra region. She specializes in portraits and figurative work.
Erin has studied widely in Australia, the United States and Europe, and has participated in group shows in both the United States and Australia. Her work is held in private collections in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
