Megalo Opportunities – Print Sale + Join Our Team

Megalo is delighted to invite our members to take part in our 2023 Open Day, on Saturday 11 November. This year Megalo members will have the opportunity to offer works for sale to the public visiting the studios.

• There is no entry fee – however artists must hold a current membership to be eligible to participate.
• Works must be delivered in person during Megalo opening hours (Tuesday-Saturday, 9.30am-5pm), between Saturday 4 November and Friday 10 November. Works delivered at the Open Day will not be accepted.
• Works must be delivered in good condition, in transparent wrapping, and clearly labelled with the artist’s name, work details and price.
• Megalo will process all sales, and will charge a reduced commission of 20% on the retail price of all sold works.
• Unsold works must be collected in person by Thursday 16 November.

Megalo Print Studio is calling out for casual Technical Officers to provide technical support and assistance with daily operations at our Kingston studios. This is a great opportunity for anyone with printmaking experience and a positive, hardworking attitude to join the Megalo team.

Megalo is the only studio in Australia – and one of very few worldwide – to provide artists, creative practitioners and the broader community, at all stages, with access to facilities in the full range of print disciplines: screenprint, lithography, relief and intaglio. Technical Officers provide support for the technical and general operations of Megalo Print Studio, including member and user access, education programs, creative projects, and administration and customer service.

Submissions are open for Impressions 23: Megalo Members’ Exhibition!
Entries close Saturday 18 November

It’s time to show off some prints – submissions are now open to take part in Megalo’s annual members’ showcase for 2023!  Works in all print media are eligible to enter into Impressions 23, including screen print, relief, intaglio, lithography and hybrid print media.

There is no entry fee for the 2023 Members’ Exhibition for all current Megalo members, and all entries will be exhibited in the Megalo gallery between Saturday 25 November – Saturday 16 December 2023.  (Maximum one work per artist).
