A three week course 25 June – 9th July 2025

The two afternoons would cover lino and other relief printing on fabric with and without a press, plus an introduction to screen printing on fabric using cut paper stencils.
The course presumes knowledge of basic lino cutting, with participants encouraged to bring their own simple pre-cut lino designs to print. The tutor’s designs and stamps would also be available for use.
Participants will gain knowledge of how different inks work on fabrics (including how they stand up to washing) and consideration of placement of designs on clothes. The course will also cover relief printing on gessoed canvas.
If participants are interested, the course could also cover the basics of repeat pattern printing.
