The Art of Celebration: Reflecting 50+ Years of Canberra Art Workshop
This year we celebrate 50 creative years since Canberra Art Group became CANBERRA ART WORKSHOP.
Be a part of the celebration by exhibiting your artwork at CAW’s third and final event for the year.
Media can include:
life drawing; portraiture; experimental art using a wide range of media; drawing; painting; pastels; mixed media; printmaking; sculpture and beyond.
Key dates:
- Online entries Open – Wednesday 1 October
- Entries close – Monday 10 November 5PM Sharp
- Deliver artwork to Belconnen Arts Centre – 1.00 to 4.00pm Monday 1 December
- Exhibition opening – Friday 5 December
- Exhibition ends – Saturday 31 January
- Exhibition ‘bump-out’
○ Collect artworks from Belco — Sunday 1 February from Belco
○ Or, organise someone to collect your unsold works for you
ENTRIES CLOSED
ENTRY TERMS
All exhibitors must be a financial CAW member.
Up to three (3) entries per member.
Image of submitted work must be of:
- original artwork created in the last 18 months
- uploaded as a high-resolution (1Mb-3Mb) jpeg image
- received by 5.00pm on the closing date, on this website with the completed form (including all details — about yourself and the artwork), plus a maximum 25-word description of your artwork.
The Curator will make a judgement about the images of works to hang.
ENTRY FEE
$50 ($45 for superannuates/pensioners) — non-refundable.
CATALOGUE
If you would like a printed colour catalogue of the exhibition they can be purchased for $5.00 when you submit your entry form.
PAYMENT DETAILS
Entry fee must be paid via the application form.
GALLERY SALES
Submission of your image automatically includes permission for CAW to use it at our discretion, including for promotional and social media purposes (which may include some careful photo editing).
GALLERY COMMISSION
Belco applies a 33% commission to all sales.
