There will be two artists talks at Tuggeranong Arts Centre immediately prior to the next opening on 31 March. Watercolourist Mark Dober will talk to his large scale works on paper in “On the Banks of the Murrumbidgee” at 5.20pm, followed by printmakers John Pratt and Peter Mclean speaking about Traverse an exhibition using maps in collage, mixed media works, installations and prints. join us to celebrate with the artists at 6pm.
Earlier in the day (Friday 31 March) Tugerraong Arts Centre has a lot to offer with Creative Seniors Day beginning at 9am with Tai Chi by the Lake. Enjoy a cuppa or join in with morning and afternoon painting and dance workshops. Catch the lunchtime concert with members of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra; sing with a choir or drop-in anytime to try out plein air drawing by the lake or collaboratively make flowers using textile assemblage.
