6-18 December: Landscape and Still Life

The Canberra Art Workshop is a lively, open studio at the M16 Artspace, 21 Blaxland Crescent, Griffith Act. The artist association has been welcoming all area artists from beginners to professionals for more than 70 years. Current programs in its studio run day and night, seven days a week, and include a smorgasbord of self-directed workgroups and tutored courses. They cover life drawing, portraiture, experimental art, printmaking and more. CAW’s artists use many kinds of media including acrylics, drawing materials, inks, mixed media, oils, pastel and watercolour. The Annual Members’ Exhibition provides the opportunity for members to showcase some artwork they have created during the previous 12 months.

Opening, 6pm Thursday 30 November, M16.
All Merit Prizes will be awarded on Saturday, 9 December at 2pm in the CAW Studio during the members’ End of Year gathering.
